I run this site as a service provider under § 7 (1) of the German Telemedia Act (TMG). Most of the content here is not written by me, however — it comes from the people who use the platform. This page summarises what that means for liability.
Most content is user-generated
The statements, tags, and explanations published here are submitted mostly by registered users. Each submission passes through manual moderation that rejects obviously abusive, offensive, or unlawful content. As a sole provider, a full content review of every single entry is not feasible — I do my best, but I cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of every individual statement.
Liability for own content
I am responsible for the site's own content under the general laws pursuant to § 7 (1) TMG.
As a service provider, however, I am not obliged under §§ 8 to 10 TMG to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information or to investigate circumstances that indicate unlawful activity.
Obligations to remove or block the use of information under the general laws remain unaffected. Liability in this regard is only possible from the point in time at which a specific legal violation becomes known. As soon as such violations come to my attention, the content is removed immediately.
Liability for external links
The site occasionally links to external websites whose content I have no influence over. I therefore cannot accept any liability for such third-party content. The provider or operator of the linked pages is always responsible for their content.
The linked pages were checked for possible legal violations at the time of linking. No unlawful content was apparent at that time. Permanent monitoring of the linked pages is not reasonable without concrete evidence of a legal violation. As soon as I become aware of violations, such links are removed immediately.

Content and works on this site that I have created are subject to German copyright law. Duplication, processing, distribution, and any form of commercialisation beyond the bounds of copyright require my written consent.
Where content on this site was not created by me, third-party copyrights are respected. In particular, third-party content is marked as such. If you nevertheless notice a copyright violation, please let me know — relevant content is removed immediately once I become aware of any violations.
